Spectrum Mobile uses the same APN as Verizon
Spectrum Mobile is an MVNO that rides on Verizon's network. The APN profile is identical to Verizon postpaid: use vzwinternet as the APN.

Spectrum Mobile does not issue a separate SIM configuration app. If vzwinternet does not work, confirm your phone is carrier-unlocked and the IMEI is registered with Spectrum.

Setup steps
- Open Settings and go to Mobile Network / Cellular Data Network.
- Find Access Point Names (Android) or APN settings (iPhone).
- Create a new APN profile or edit the existing one.
- Set APN to vzwinternet. Leave username and password blank.
- Save, select the profile, disable WiFi and toggle airplane mode for 10 seconds.
- Test data in a browser before testing MMS or hotspot.

Spectrum Mobile APN basics
Spectrum Mobile uses Verizon's network infrastructure, so the APN is vzwinternet. No Spectrum-specific APN exists. If your phone auto-configured the APN after inserting the SIM, you may not need to change anything. Only edit the APN if mobile data is not working.
Android path
Settings ? Network & Internet ? SIMs ? Access Point Names ? Add or edit the Spectrum profile. Enter vzwinternet as the APN and leave all other fields at default unless you need MMS.
iPhone path
Settings ? Cellular ? Cellular Data Network ? enter vzwinternet under APN. Leave username and password blank. MMS settings are under the same screen.
5G support
Spectrum Mobile includes 5G access on compatible phones. No separate 5G APN is needed ? vzwinternet handles LTE and 5G.
Hotspot / tethering
The same vzwinternet APN usually works for hotspot. If hotspot is blocked, check your plan's tethering allowance in the Spectrum Mobile app.

- Confirm your phone is carrier-unlocked and supports Verizon bands.
- Verify your Spectrum account is active and not past due.
- Test with WiFi off and airplane mode toggled.
- Check that the correct APN profile is selected (not a previous carrier's).
- Pause any VPN or private DNS for one controlled test.
